Separation of mixtures of substances with different densities by centrifugal acceleration Free oil and solids are separated in the auxiliary flow.

Advantages

  • Continuous bath preparation by drawing off oil
  • Little space required, consequently easy to use even with high oil entry
  • Low oil concentration in the water phase

Disadvantages

  • Emulsion cannot be separated
  • Poor oil thresholds if tensides present
